The Instagram Account Of The Week: Automotive Edition

Everyone knows Instagram but not everyone knows ‘Vemodalen’, a phrase which equates to the ‘frustration of photographing something amazing when thousands of identical images already exist.’ So, hereby lies the problem. The depressing outlook is that despite your adventures, it is likely that the picture you are about to take has already been taken, and inevitably, the picture in existence is probably better than what you can muster. Therefore, it is imperative to scope the lengths and breadths of Instagram to discover the people who are remarkably, doing things their own way. Which is why we are continuing our weekly new series of the Instagram accounts that you need to follow – with our top five automotive accounts featuring Jonathan Szxzupak, Ted Gushue, Sihabutr Xoomsai na Ayudthaya, St Christophorus and Oliver Sold Photography.

Sihabutr Xoomsai na Ayudthaya – @tennster

It’s seemingly inappropriate to feature the automotive Instagram accounts of the week without including a Porsche enthusiast; and Film Director of Triton Film and Editor of GT Porsche Thai Edition, @tennster fits the bill. The Thai-based creative maintains the elegance of the 911 through the influence of simple, refined shots that showcase a range of new and old favourites.

@St_chrisophorus is ‘always looking for the next vintage cars’ and his Instagram feed follows suit by showcasing the diversity of some of the best classic cars in existence. We particularly recommend a flick through his archives to discover the photos of his trip to Indonesia.
